National Day of Healing from Racism
The Office of Inclusive Excellence and Office of Multicultural Student Engagement partner with the Detroit Equity Action Lab (DEAL), an initiative of the Damon J. Keith Center for Civil Rights at Wayne State University's Law School to host an annual event called the National Day of Healing from Racism.
Wayne State joins thousands of individuals around the country who gather on this day in the spirit of racial healing. This annual event occurs the day after Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday.
