Learning & Development Series
The Learning & Development Series (L&D Series) is an annual calendar of inclusion, belonging and intercultural competence workshops for faculty and staff. These interactive workshops are designed to foster intercultural competence through critical self-reflection and dialogue with peers.
- The workshops are highly interactive and engaging for participants.
- RSVPs are required for attendance. Staff and faculty RSVP via the Wayne Events Calendar. Some workshops have a capacity limit.
- All workshops are synchronous with scheduled dates and times.
There will not be a formal L&D Series in the Winter 2025 semester. However, there will be other professional development and educational opportunities led by our office. Consider signing up for the Year of Focus event titled Communicating through Conflict: Understanding Ourselves and Others. This event is facilitated by Alex Boesch, PhD in the Office of Inclusive Excellence.
We are committed to providing learning opportunities that make a difference on campus. In an effort to be transparent about the impact of this series, we have provided cumulative data from participants who completed post-workshop assessments since the series began.
